What Can Project REACH do for You?
Today's adults lead busy lives. Family and work take a big part of the day. Why not spend a few hours a week with other adults doing something to improve your life?
Project REACH is a FREE adult education program sponsored by the Huntingdon County Child & Adult Development Corporation and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Project REACH is for all adults over 17 who want to improve their academic skills.
Classes follow the regular school year. FREE transportation is provided in the Mount Union and Orbisonia areas, and FREE childcare is available for children ages 2 through 12.
What type of classes are offered?
Project REACH offers classes for a variety of needs:
ABE - Adult basic education services to help new or low level learners improve their skills
GED Prep - Preparation for the GED exam.
Workplace Essential Skills - Video, workbooks, and the internet provide help with skills used in the workplace. Topics covered include workplace reading and math, employability and communication.

Crawford Apartments Community Room, Third Floor
Monday: noon - 3:00pm and 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am - noon
Mount Union
Family Express Family Literacy/Adult Education Center, 402 N. Jefferson St.
Tuesday: noon - 3:00pm and 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursday: noon - 3:00pm
Orbisonia
Rockhill Church of the Brethren, basement (enter at rear)
Monday: 5:00pm - 8:00pm
